What to Expect When You Book a Stay at Hotel Claytou
If you’re planning a trip to Blackpool and choose to stay with us at Hotel Claytou, we want you to feel at ease from the moment you book until the moment you leave. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect during your visit.
Before You Arrive
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a Google Forms link to complete at your convenience before check-in. This quick form means your arrival will be smooth and stress-free.
Our standard check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, unless we’ve agreed on a different arrangement in advance.
Your Arrival Experience
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted warmly by one or both of the hotel’s owners and welcomed into the sun lounge. Here, we’ll introduce ourselves, check your ID, and confirm your booking details — including the information you provided via the Google form.
If you’re a solo traveller or don’t use WhatsApp, we’ll show you a Wi-Fi QR code to scan so you can get connected straight away.
Settling In
Once the formalities are complete, we’ll escort you to your room. As part of our service, we carry your heaviest bag for you, and if you have more than one, we’ll happily return for the rest.
After you’ve had a moment to settle in, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message with all the information you’ll need for your stay. This includes:

Check-Out Made Easy
Check-out is at 10:00 am (unless we’ve arranged a later time). On the day you leave, you’ll find one or both owners in the sun lounge ready to receive your key. If you need help with your luggage, we’ll happily carry it down and even to your vehicle if required.
We’ll take a moment to ask about your stay and your plans for the day before saying goodbye. If your transport isn’t ready yet, you’re welcome to relax in the sun lounge or garden until it arrives.
After You Leave
Within 24 hours of check-out, you’ll receive a friendly message from us confirming your departure. This message may also include any special offers available for future stays, along with links to our social media so you can stay connected with us.
