Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of Hotel Claytou Ltd services. By making a booking or using our facilities, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1. General Information

1.1 Hotel Claytou Ltd is a trading name and operates in accordance with these terms.

1.2 The registered address of Hotel Claytou Ltd is 49 Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9DG.

1.3 Bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Bookings

2.1 Bookings must be made by persons aged 18 or older.

2.2 Lead guests staying at Hotel Claytou Ltd must also be aged 18 or older. Proof of age will be required upon check-in.

2.3 Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and not be left in unattended

2.4 Due to the historic nature of the building and safety considerations (e.g., steep stairways), the hotel may not be suitable for young children under the age of 6. We do not provide cot beds or other child-specific facilities. Guests travelling with young children are advised to contact us before booking.

2.5 A valid credit/debit card is required to secure your booking.

2.6 Full payment (or any outstanding balance) must be made at the time of booking or upon arrival, as confirmed in your booking details. Please refer to our cancellation and refund policy for further details.

2.7 A mobile phone number must be provided for the lead guest for the duration of the stay.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

3.1 Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM.

3.2 Early check-in or late check-out may be available subject to an additional fee and prior arrangement.

3.3 Guests must present valid photo identification and proof of age upon check-in.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. We strongly recommend guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

5. Guest Conduct

5.1 Guests must act respectfully and comply with hotel rules during their stay.

5.2 Damage to hotel property caused by a guest will be charged to the guest’s account.

5.3 Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited in all rooms and public areas. A cleaning fee will be applied for non-compliance.

5.4 As Hotel Claytou is also the family home of the owners, the privacy and safeguarding of our family and other guests is of the utmost importance. For this reason, photography, video recording, and live streaming are not permitted anywhere on the premises without prior written consent from hotel management.

5.5 For fire safety and security purposes, only guests listed on the booking are permitted in the rooms or on the premises.

5.6 A charge will apply for the loss of keys, non-return of keys, or missing hotel items such as towels or other in-room amenities.

5.7 Excessive disruption to other guests in the hotel, following an initial warning, will result in the termination of your stay with no refund.

5.8 No illegal activities or substances will be tolerated on the premises. Such activities will result in the immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

6. Liability

6.1 Hotel Claytou Ltd accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence. Guests are advised to ensure that their valuables are securely stored.

7. Parking

7.1 Complimentary on-street parking is available, and limited on-site parking may be arranged for an additional fee, subject to prior request and availability.

8. Wi-Fi and Smart TVs

8.1 Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided for guests, subject to fair usage policies. The hotel is not responsible for disruptions in service.

8.2 Smart TVs are available in guest rooms. Guests are welcome to use their personal streaming accounts but must ensure they log out upon departure. Hotel Claytou Ltd accepts no responsibility for unauthorised access to accounts resulting from a failure to log out.

9. Health & safety

9.1 Hotel Claytou is fully fire safety compliant.

9.2Hotel Claytou does not have facilities to store or dispose of clinical waste. Guests who require the use of clinical waste products (e.g. needles, dressings) are responsible for their safe disposal in line with local regulations.

10. Complaints

10.1 Any complaints should be addressed to the hotel management during your stay for resolution.

11. Accessibility

11.1 Hotel Claytou is a historic building, and therefore accessibility is limited. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide full wheelchair access. Guests with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can advise on suitability.

12. Breakfasts

12.1 Breakfasts are continental and provided within the guest room for consumption in the room.
12.2 Breakfasts are non-refundable.
12.3 We are unable to guarantee that any food provided is allergen-free. Guests with allergies or intolerances should carefully check all ingredients before consuming.

13. Governing Law

13.1 The laws of England govern these terms and conditions.
